About CAN! Film Festival

The purpose of the CAN! Film Festival is to uplift filmmaking in all forms and create a community where any and all Knights can be a filmmaker (film major or not).

The CAN! Film Festival began a few years ago as the "BA Screener," where we showcased short films made by students who were not taking production classes or not in the Film BFA program. Eventually, we opened the festival up to all UCF students. Submissions will be viewed and selected by the club officer boards of Lights, Camera, Action!, Film Club, Sunspot Cinema Collective, Women in Film, Student Cinematheque and more!
